Fertility
WE WOULD BE HONOURED TO WALK BESIDE YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY. OUR AIM IS TO OPTIMIZE YOUR PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL WELLNESS TO PROVIDE IDEAL CONDITIONS FOR PREGNANCY TO UNFOLD.
WHETHER YOU ARE TRYING TO CONCEIVE UNASSISTED OR WITH ASSISTANCE, WE HAVE BEEN TRAINING FOR YEARS TO HELP SUPPORT YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) we recognize that every couple’s fertility journey is individual and that what prevents conception differs for everyone. Through a detailed consultation of all the signs and symptoms in the body (many which you may think are insignificant or have never even paid attention to before!), and a detailed analysis of tongue and pulse, we are able to identify internal imbalances that are causing difficulties conceiving.
When treating fertility, we want to ensure that the overall environment of the body is optimal so that the hormones are balanced, and that the eggs and endometrium are of the best possible quality for fertilization and implantation.
We work with acupuncture to regulate the nervous system, balance the reproductive hormones that govern the cycle, optimize egg and uterine lining quality and increase blood flow to the reproductive organs. TCM herbs replicate these exact same actions in the body, but are taken at home twice a day, like a mini acupuncture treatment to build momentum between treatments. Herbs are an integral part of our treatments as they provide the body with the actual substance needed to create good quality eggs and uterine lining.
Even though you may have the same western diagnosis as someone else, the root cause behind the diagnosis could be vastly different. We tailor our treatments to your unique constitution. Most patients come to love these moments of rest and respite, finding treatments to be gentle and relaxing.
